About Candlemind

Candlemind is a trading simulator for people who want to learn to read charts and manage risk before risking money. You decide on real moments of market history and every decision is scored and explained.

Who builds it

Candlemind is built and run by Raul Garcia Fernandez. It is an independent project, not a broker and not linked to any bank or trading firm. You can reach us at [email protected] or on TikTok.

Where the data comes from

Every lesson uses historical one-minute candles from Dukascopy’s public market data feed, across 55 markets (forex, metals, energy, indices, crypto and US stocks). Each lesson picks a random real day; the date stays hidden until you decide, so you cannot know what happens next.

How decisions are scored

The score from 0 to 100 combines how well you read the chart (trend, structure, zones, liquidity) and how you executed (risk per trade, stop placement, reward-to-risk and discipline). The outcome of the trade alone never decides the score: a lucky win with a bad stop scores low, and a well-planned loss can score high.

How the real-chart examples are made

The 59 concept pages in the Learn section use real EUR/USD charts. The examples are found automatically by code: a pattern only counts if it formed with the candles before the decision point and the market then behaved as the concept describes. We disclose this because we think readers should know how the content is produced. The explanations are written and reviewed by the team.

What Candlemind is not

Candlemind is an educational simulation. It does not handle money, execute real trades or give investment advice, and simulated results do not guarantee future performance. Read the risk disclosure.
